One Layer Card with Flowers

Today I've got a floral one layer design to share. I've been away for a good week, I usually have trouble finding mojo after a break, but I was inspired by the layout, colors and bold title on the book cover at the Library Challenge, so I got to work and had fun.
Amazon.com: Oscar (Biblioasis International Translation Series) (9781771962254): Mauricio Segura, Donald Winkler: Books
I used rose stamps from a Dina Wakley set. To add color I sponged with yellow, pink and green DI. I also added some blue arond the image to accentuate it. As a final touch I used a small script stamp and coordinated the colors with those of the flowers.

This card is for:
Less Is More - #380 OLC Florals
The Library Challenge - Oscar
Penny Black and More - Feminine

  5. Beautiful scripted roses, they are very feminine, especially with these soft colours! I often forget to put a sentiment on my cards, and when I put it, I'm worried to cover other parts... So I have never tough to put it on the roses having a lot of white space all around! LOL :) Well done, you are a true artist, your design is just perfect!!
