Black, white and gold for a teenager

Today I've finished up a youthful masculine design, using black, white and gold.
The footwear is part of a more detailed stamp, but I cut them out after heat embossing with black.
For the background I used a new stamp from the Concord&9th "Seasonal Borders" set. I stamped with Altenew Enchanted gold ink. I used the same ink to cover the die cut frame from Altenew.
On top of the stamped border I used a Memory Box burlap stencil with gold Nuvo expanding mousse (fun stuff!). I blended some of the mousse with water to add some golden splatter.
I stamped the happy birthday and used one of the dies from Concord&9th "Season of cheer" set. A few gold star stickers from my stash.

  5. Definitely says happy birthday to a man, Pia! The double rectangles spotlighting your embossed shoes is a fantastic design idea! I especially like the texture stamp and stencil in your background - it sets the stage for good things to come for the person wearing those shoes! FANTASTIC! hugs, de
