Time for a new challenge over at Outlawz Twisted Thursday, we have the optional twist of "First day of winter" this week. Our sponsor for December is Anne's Digital Art.
I struggle making tags and was so exited to make two that I forgot to add some snow on them for a more wintery feel.
I used Anne's beautiful wreath image, printed them onto a DP and colored the DP with Promarkers and a white gel pen. I was quite surprised of how well the colors cover the DP - I'm going to use this technique again, for sure. I used the same patterned papers for both tags, but differently, and I used red and natural colored twine.
I would like to try my luck in these challenges as well:
1) Cutie Pie Challenge - Cute + Anything but a Card
2) Come and Get It - Merry Christmas (2nd entry)
3) Eclectic Ellapu - PURPLE - Christmas but not a card!
4) Pile It On - #49 Anything Goes Christmas/Holidays
These are gorgeous Pia, such a sweet image and I love the papers you have used.

I too struggle with tags. What a great idea to colour on DSP, the touch of white pen here really makes a difference, it seems to add depth. Have a good day x

ReplyDeleteI have been very naughty and not got my tags made yet! I am done baking, present wrapping and stick on tags on each prezzie...bit I usually make handmade tags for any gift baskets, coffee type gifts for friends and horsey ones for my horse mad family.
Lucky for me a friend had about 30 beautiful tags made up that she was going to send to the thrift shop/ She changed her mind about her colour scheme for the gifts. My lucky day and I was able to take the ones I needed! Even gift card holders...Yay!!!
wonderful tags!! Thanks for playing with The cutie pies!! Sarah :0)
