Flower overload!

It's Thursday and time for a new challenge over at  Outlawz Twisted Thursday, we have the optional twist of "a Gate Fold Card" this week. Our sponsor for January is Bugaboo.








I used an image with Ava and her cat on a swing. And I went bananas with the flowers. It started with one and was increased to three. Then I just wanted to add a couple more because there were empty gaps. And before I knew it I had totally covered the top. Oh well, I don't use flowers very often, so why not go overboard when I do:)
I colored the image using Promarkers, fussy cut it and attached it to a scrap piece of DP. I believe this one and the one used for the background are from Authentique.
To keep my card closed I added blue seambing ribbon. The sentiment is heat embossed with gold EP on a die cut oval.

    Pia, I just love this card full of flowers!!! No bananas for me :-D
    This scene for me is a garden full of flowers where a little girl play with her kitten. A wonderful place and a lovely theme!!
    Your card is so sweet, love the colourful look that blends very well with the light blue background. The light patterned grey background and the bow give harmony at the whole thing. Great card!

    You did an amazing job with your image, she is colored so beautifully and I love the colors you use. Those flowers are beautiful and I love the softness of all those flowers. I love your gatefold card turned out really nice. I hope I can get my card posted tomorrow I haven't been feeling very well. Had to go to the doctors today to get some cortisone shots so I'm in a lot of pain today but it will get better.

    Pia, this card is awesome! I love all the flowers, not too many at all! I love this image and am using it next week! Did you make the bedspread in the photo? Oh my, it is gorgeous!

    Wow that is a lot of flowers but why not! And it works as you have kept the bg neutral colours then you get a burst of sunshine colours x
