Gertrude

I'm here to share my DT card for the new "Stella Says Sketch" challenge over at Catch the Bug.
I used  the image Grumpy Gertrude - touch coffee colored with pink and grey Promarkers. She comes with a fun sentiment, but I chose to use one from Art Impressions, heat embossed with silver EP onto vellum, attached with fastenaters (I belivethat's what it's called? First time I use it). Papers are from Pebbles and Maja Design. I also added 3 pink pearls from my stash.

    This is just too cute and that sentiment is precious. Love Gertrude and can totally identify with her attitude. She looks great on the rectangle framing with the lovely papers! Good idea to put the sentiment on vellum. TFS & hugs.

    Maybe if Gertrude was less grumpy, she might be treated like a Queen!! Love the silver embossed sentiment on vellum - it's so effective and looks perfect on the background panels.

    I love Gertrude! Look at her! Haha, our school's grumpy bus driver is retiring... if you weren't half a world away, I'd say SHIP this TO HER! It looks like her! (Ha, maybe she wouldn't like that, but she's good-natured...) Anyway, very cute. Dint know what fastenators are... well have to check.
