I used an image from our sponsor for January - Stitchy Bear Designs. I colored it in shades of grey and teamed it up with a purple paper from Maja which I embossed using two embossing folders.I added purple flowers and flower ribbon, grey lace and striped washi (I feel very proud each time I find a way to use these tapes). The sentiment panel was a freebie from TLC a while back. I stitched around the edges with purple thread.

ReplyDeletePia, I just love this card. The sentiment goes with the stamp so well. I think your background is lovely. Why don't I ever think of using Washi tape like that? I will try to remember to do so in the future. The flowers and the sewing are such a nice touch as well!

Oh, your card so sweet in purple!! And great idea using two EF to give dimension and interest! Love grey and purple, I think this is a bit vintage, so feminine and elegant combo. I never thought this and love it! I must try!
