Christmas roses x 2

I have two cards to share today. For both cards I used some Christmas roses stamps from Panduro.

1)
For the first card I was inspired by the sketch over at LIM, keeping it all very simple. The sentiment is a freebie. I used a stitched die to cut the panel, and I also want to give credit to Imke of My Crafty Place for her idea of stapling on the sequins.

This card is for:
Less Is More - #370 Sketch
4 Crafty Chicks - #400 Less Is More
Rudolph's Day - April

2)
For the second card I was inspired by the CASE card over at CCC, but I went with a Christmas theme. I used a MB heart die and a background stap from Tim Holtz, heat embossed with white and I applied grey DI.

This card is for:
52 Christmas Card Throwdown - Knitting or Sewing
Crafting By Designs - Christmas
City Crafter Challenge - #09 CASE the provided card

  6. Oh my, 2 such lovely cards, and I really like the CAS look of the first one. These poinsettias look like cross stitch, and TFS the sequin stapling idea. How did you hold in place long enough to staple it?! The Nordic gray background design on #2 looks impressive with the white heart topper and then adding these bright poinsettias as the design...especially like the sentiment detail too. Well done, Miss Pia! TFS & Hugs

  8. The first one is sooooo much CAS!!! Wow! I would never succeed in doing something as this. No one CASEing from me, surely LOL :D
The stapling on the sequins is a brilliant idea!
The second card is very elegant, that background looks as lace and make the heart pop out. Again, the stapling adds a so different touch. You has bee so accurate applying the staples without ruining the cardstock!
