Beverage

Today I have two cards to share for the  Twofer Card challenge where the theme is beverage. For both cards I used the champagne bottle and glass stamp that was part of freebie set with a magazine recently. I also used a sweet mouse from Penny Black. The frame dies are from MFT, I used the two largest ones.

Card 1) Happy New Year 2019
This is the first card I made. I stuck a freebie paper onto the card base and added sticker numbers. I stamped the mouse and masked him before I used champagne bottle and glass stamp. The bubbles came with the same freebie set. I stamped and cut out one extra glass. I covered the glasses with glossy accent.
This card is also for:
Crafty Friends Challenge - #88 Food / Drink
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper - Anything Goes with Patterned Paper

Card 2) It's your day (birthday card)
For my second card I used a DP from Lawn Fawn. The cheers sentiment came with the same freebie set.The larger sentiment is from KaiserKraft. I used a part of a doily for table cloth and ounted the mouse and one glass on foam.
This card is also for:
Inkspirational - #165 Birthday
Fab 'n' Funky - #402 Gingham

  6. Wow!!! Strike twice! :D They are both so beautiful and sweet! I admire so much your skills in making cards for a specific purpose and these are two perfect cards for two different celebrations! ...And you have gone in advance for the new year, too! Very well done!
I find difficult thinking to a proper sentiment while I'm working with images, papers and embellishments...because I go wild! :D ...So I often have my finished cards without a sentiment :( because there isn't enough space LOL :D That's crazy, isn't it?

  7. Hi, Pia! Beautiful twofer cards. They both look completely different with the colors and background, but my favorite difference is your darling little mouse on cork in different places. It changes the whole story on each of these creations! Fantastic! Hugs, de

  8. Both are a great use of your wonderful 'freebie' set. That little mouse just adds such a cute detail. While I love both of these cards (and like the way you've done the vertical date), I really like the plaid background combined with the delicate doily where the bottle and glasses are resting! Well done! TFS

I can't stop giggling over the champagne bubble on that mouse's nose! Hammy is going to want me to let him play with the bubbles and be shot up in the air the next time we have champagne, lol! 27. OMG, these are too cute! I am not usually drawn to cute cards (I think because my kids both just grew out of the younger ages and I was immersed in "cute" for the past 10+ years), but this little guy is adorable! And how could I say no to champagne?!
