Twofer Wheels

Today I have two cards to share for the Twofer Card Challenge #16 which is WHEELS.
For both cards I used dies from Tim Holtz.
I made a birthday card and a Christmas card.

1) Birthday card
On my first card I inked with a lighter blue for the sky and I used browns with a stencil to make the road. The citscape is cut with a Memory Box die, all others are Tim Holtz ones. The birthday greeting translates "You're not getting old, you're getting better"
This card is also for: Allsorts - #519 Transport

2) Christmas card
For my second card I splattered with white paint and water onto the the inked background. I stamped a greeting and some trees, then I used Tim Holtz dies for the car, tree and snowy hill.
This card is also for: Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas - #437 Anything Christmas Goes - optional theme: Include a tree or two or more
