For this card I decided to go with a slimline layout to fit my 4 chosen cat images. I used a grey distress ink for coloring. I kept it clean and onlyadded a narrow striped washi tape border for embellishment.

Little Red Wagon - #615 Animal Antics
For
the layout of this card my inspiration came from the photo over at Time Out, where the bag has a pattern of heads on circles placed in all different directions. Instead I used one circle and stamped the cats' heds along the edge of that circle. I used the Altenew Mid-Century Frame Die, the die cut was heat embossed in silver. The stencil is also from Altenew, named Deco Wallpaper Stencil. I went with an ombré effect with 3 different distress inks. Finally I heat embossed the sentiment with silver EP.

These are both adorable, and those cats are so fun. Thanks so much for playing along at Time Out.
ReplyDeletePia....this is so sweet and I love how you were inspired!! So clever and so fun. So happy you are playing along at Time Out, thank you!
ReplyDeleteThey are both absolutely adorable!! I'm the most cats lover too, even if love all the animals. These cats make me smile, such fun faces and poses have these PB stamps! The slimline is elegant and the second one looks so cheerful with that muted stencilled background and the "sun" with the cats peeking out!! I think it's my favourite, but love them both. You are always so accurate in the details of your cards!

Awww these are so cute Pia! I love both designs and all of the stamped cats, very fun cards!
ReplyDeleteEvery Penny Black critter image is cute and I have to say these cats are at the top of the super cute list with their postures and expressions! And you, Pia, are at the top when it comes to making two distinctly different designs using the same stamps! They are adorable showcased on your long slimline card and peering over the edge of the circle on your thank you card. I love the graphic background you gave them! Thank you for being so supportive and playing often in TCC over the last four years. I appreciate it very much! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteTwo absolutely adorable cards. Love the simplicity of the slimline, drawing the eye up to view each of those cute kitties. The design of the second card is striking...love that one too. xx
