In connection with the Altenew bloghop I saw my Inkspirational-teamie, Lindsey, had made a card using the Tall Tale stamp set. I liked it so much so I had to get the set myself. You can see her post here.
I've been trying to make 2 cards at a time lately, I'm a slow cardmaker, and I find it doesn't take double the time making 2 cards at the same time. Yay, efficient and fun!
For both cards I used a DP as wallpaper and an embossing folder to make the floor/desk.
Card 1) For her - Colored version based on a sketch
This card is for Sunday Stamps - #264 Sketch
Card 2) For him - Black and white version with woodgrain
This card is for Shopping Our Stash - #452 Wood You Believe?
Two perfect cards for book lovers, the shelf/shelves of books and sentiments are brilliant
ReplyDeleteWow, Pia, what a great set! Love the little perfect blasts of color on the one for our sketch, and the sentiment really speaks to my heart, lol. Thanks so much for playing at Sunday Stamps!
ReplyDeleteThese are fabulous cards Pia, it does make sense to make two at the same time while everything is out. Both cards are great designs! Like the sentiments too!
ReplyDeleteI love both of these, Pia! A good book-related stamp set is always good to add to the collection. ;) Your "for her" card is beautifully coloured, and your "for him" card looks perfect in black and white. Thanks for the shout-out, as well!
ReplyDeleteOh, wow, what a surprise I love both the coloured and black and white, The coloured always adds interest and obviously colour, and yet the black and white shows every detail perfectly right down to the lovely wallpaper..two fabulous cards..

Two fantastic cards Pia. I have enough trouble concentrating on making one at a time, far less two. I have so much out all over the place, I am the same when I am cooking. lol!! Both fantastic creations.

ReplyDeleteI am with you - I am a super slow crafter - so I also try to do more than one at a time while my desk is messy :)
