Napping day

Over at Catch the Bug we are celebrating odd events and holidays each Wednesday, like napping day which was on March 13. I wish I could spend a whole day napping. Here's a dog and cat doing just that. They've got company of a bird. This came to from scraps and several dies were involved (Dienamics frame die,
Memory Box bird and cage an an oval die for the carpet). When I find my 'home sweet home' picture stamp I will add it on here, as a picture on the wall. I know it's in my stash somewhere...

    I didn't knew this holiday, but I will love celebrate it next year! :D My cats are really specialist in this work everyday LOL
    Adorable cute pets and love the idea of the felt diecut oval for carpet, it's really perfect! The gage with the bird's silouette adds a lot of interest and makes the card so harmonious! Well done!

    Very cute... I love the calm, neutral palette. Your Home Sweet Home stamp will show up! I hate when I can't find what I'm looking for! There is a website I go to called Brownielocks, and this woman compiles all of the most random holidays... never heard of Napping Day!

    hahaha - looks like our home in the afternoon, with kitty, puppy and hubby all napping for an hour or so in the living room as I play in my craft room. LOVE the kitty peeking from behind the puppy! LOL It's a darling card - great idea to use the oval for the rug, and to offset your panels slightly for visual interest! hugs, de

    Not heard of this one Pia..But,I for one couldn't spend any part of the day napping! Craft time wasted lol..
    But, LOve your little scene, made me smile. Animals do lots of this everyday!

    Didn't know I should have celebrated with a nap. I do naps better than most anything else I do! How cute you've made this poochie during his naptime. It was clever to place the oval as his rug, and have the caged bird watching over him. Love the striped wallpaper, and the tiny blue check looks super with the more subtle colors of the stripe. Always love stitched mats! TFS & Hugs
