There are lots of love themed challenges running now. I haven't made a Valentine's card, but I've been inspired by the colors of love and chose to play with the red and white color combination!
I love papers with spots, and the floral paper in the background is my favorite paper at the moment. So I made a card base with these papers without knowing exactly what do next. Added a doily, then I got the idea of using my dressmaker Spellbinders die. Then I remembered a stamp set I got with a magazine recently, with spools of thread and measuring tape amongst other things, so I heat embossed them in red and white on kraft paper.
The edges have been stitched, and I've made the birthday sentiment with letter stickers. A pearl in each corner and voilà!
This card is for these challenges:
1) ABC Challenge - Going Dotty
2) Ett Trykk - Norsk Stempelblad AS - Doily
3) 2 Sisters - #129 White and Red and/or Pink
4) Mema's Crafts - Hello doily
5) Make it Monday with Kraft Outlet - Seeing Red
6) Challenges 4 Everybody - Anything Goes
7) Make it Monday - Anything Goes

Hi Pia, me again! Thanks for visiting Little Miss C's blog. She really is talented and I think will enjoy her art forever.
She can sit and craft for 4 hours or even more. She might take a little break to walk around a bit but she just wanted to keep working. She took her first card class and was as good as gold!
She did a good job with the fussy cutting. I am giving her a few more images for practise and she will get the hang of it.
She comes for overnight visits and she runs lots of dies thru the Big shot to take home with her. She basically plans her card herself...sometimes I just suggest an extra piece of paper to ground things a bit!
At the moment she has a big Art journal type book and she has been busy colouring and drawing in it...I thought she could place some of her practise fussy cut images in there.
Up till now, I have done all her fussy cutting for her so when she actually masters that skill properly, that will be nice for me!!!teehee
Love the combination of the different elements you've used to create such a cool and fun card!
