INK #335 - Mood Board with purple flowers

At Inkspirational we have a new mood board challenge. I was inspired by the wood and the purple flowers.

For this card I used a paper from Mintay, floral wood, as background. The flower stamp is from Concord&9th, stamped with a purple ink. Flowers are a mix of really old ones from Storyteller and new ones from Little Birdie. The sentiment was made with dies from the Spellbinder advent calendar 2023. Bling in the center of the flowers are nail art design, love how tiny they are.

January Card Chain Challenge Reveal 2025

Here's my card for The Card Chain Challenge January reveal. If you want to join the fun for next month you need to sign up here until the 6th. You don't have to join every month, it's up to you.

My card went to Marianne in Greece. I chose to use the sketch turned upside down and flipped, as well as the theme option of cat. Lately I am loving creating in steampunk style, I think this is because this style does not require anything to look realistic and like in real life.

In return I received a card from Gundi in Germany, who also used cats, I'm a cat lover so that's perfect for me.

 

Inkspirational Challenge #334 - COLLABORATION with Color Hues Challenge #103

We have a new challenge over at Inkspirational Challenges. and this time we are collaborating with The Color Hues Challenge. We would like to see you create using RED AND PINK (any neutrals are also welcome).

I find color challenges challenging for myself, but I love seeing inspiration from others. So I kept it nice and uncomplicated, going for a one layer card, using Distress oxides Worn lipstick and Lumberjack plaid for a colored panel. I used a stamp set from Lavinia and I decorated the stamped flowers with pink gems - they are actually nail design gems that I got cheap at a spanish market.

INK #333 Snow

At Inkspirational we have a new challenge and the theme is "SNOW". 

For this card I used a sticker stencil from Lavinia to make the stag, a sentiment stamp in Norwegian from hÄnglar & Wings, sticker snowflakes from Little Birdie and frantage for additional snow. The panel was cut with a die from Gummiapan. I used white ink around the edges of the kraft card base.

INK #332 - Pretty quilt

Happy New Year!

At Inkspirational our first challenge of 2025 has been chosen by DT member Julia, and she has chosen "pretty quilt" as theme. I found this to be the perfect occasion to get some scraps used.

I used different strips of leftovers from the same paper pad and added a flower in one corner and 3 pearls and a die cut condolence sentiment. I think this is a design I'll choose for more cards, it was quick and easy to make.
