INK #319 - Use stencils and optional use paste

At Inkspirational we have stencil challenge for you for the next 2 weeks. If you want you can use the optional "use paste" as well.

I used Simon Hurley's lunar paste. I like how it has a golden look with white edges when adding it with a sponge.
I added a gold and cream panel and put a butterfly on top. I I added bling to its body.

INK #318 Moodboard - VW Beetle

At Inkspirational our challenge theme for the next two weeks is a mood board. What caught my eye was the photo with the car and the yellow and grey color combination
Out came my stamp from Aall&Create that ressembles a Volkswagen Beetle. My aunt had one of these and it was yellow, so I thought it would be a great choice for her birthday card.
I added a few grey enamel dots.

May Card Chain Challenge Reveal 2024

Here's my card for The Card Chain Challenge May reveal. If you want to join the fun for next month you need to sign up here until the 6th. You don't have to join every month, it's up to you.

My card went to Tina in Slovenia. I chose to use the sketch seen below, the Men in Hats theme option and the stencil technique option. This seemed to be the perfect occasion to use this ScrapBoys image with the man wearing the steampunk inspired hat and just add clogs and piece of die cut wire.

In return I received a super sweet fun card from Jo in the UK. She was also inspired by men in hats - Santas! Thanks Jo!

INK #317 Frame

At Inkspirational our challenge theme this fortnight is FRAME. I made a Christmas card with an image of a Santa sitting inside of a die cut frame.
I gave the stamped image an aged look by adding Vintage beeswax Baked texture powder, and the die cut inked poinsettias got the same treatment. I've had this embossing powder for a few years, yet this was the first time I used and I quite like the look of it. Maybe I should have used a more muted colored background, but I like plaid and the colors look more beautiful together in real life.

Please head over to the challenge blog to see what my INK-teamies have made.
