I was sure this was destined to be a card that would end up in the "get back to it later pile" (yeah right) but when finished I actually liked the whole layout so well that I decided to make one similar but with a Christmas theme.
I know that on the photo the roof lookes like moulded cheese, but I used my snow pen for texture and added some glitter and IRL it looks quite nice. I used another tree die, also from Marianne, chose white lace and stamped a Christmas sentiment.
The cards are very similar in design and I've used many of the same items, but I feel I acheived two different looks. Now I would love to hear your opinion - which one is your favorite?
The "Home is where your heart is" card is for these challenges:
Inspiration Destination - #80 Always Anything Goes
Creative Card Crew - #110 Die Cut
Cards und More - # 155 - Use Kraft
The "Joy to the World" card is for these:
Happy Little Stampers Christmas - Die Cuts (tree and star dies from Marianne)
Addicted to Stamps and More - #188 Holiday
A Snowflakes Promise - #20 Anything Christmas Goes

Two Stunning cards Pia..Loz
Hey, my friend, you have made what I always do! Add a bit here and there... there is some space empty to cover... and so on :D :D Fabulous! :)
I love both your cards, but expecially the first one for its light and sweet colours. For the second one I think that you have done a gorgous work and love the idea of the snow pen on the roof for the texture! In my opinion it don't seems cheese at all, it has instead a great look! Love also the white lace as snow, it's really a lovely touch!
Hugs
Two fabulous cards Pia..love the soft colours on the new house one and really love the snowy roof with the white trees and white lace on the Christmas one..both are wonderful.

Kjempeflotte kort båe to :)
Du verden for eit pirk-arbeid vi somme tider må gjennom ;)
Likte oppsettet med stjernehimmel og blonde som grunn :)
Two fabulous cards Pia, they are both gorgeous but I think I like the Christmas version the most - it is amazing how different they both look.

PS. Thank you for your condolences..
Gorgeous cards Pia. You have such a way with colours and that is evident in these creations...beautiful work. Pat K x
This was some fussy cutting for sure! But how pretty it turned out, on both the cards. Love them, the colors, your use of dies, and the layout design. So glad you joined in with the HLS April Christmas challenge. Perfect card for this month! TFS & Hugs too.
I'm laughing at your moulded cheese comment - I don't see it though. It's a great design and works equally well in both options . I always find your use of diecuts inspiring. You make it look easy, but I don't find it so.
Loving your creation Pia ! Wonderful design !!
You know I love that die and rhe mouldy cheese is so funny but it does look like snow! Great cards x
These are two beautiful cards Pia! There is so much fabulous detail on both so it's hard to choose a favourite! If I really had to I would pick the first one I think but only because I really love the colours, but then again the white on the second looks very Christmasy... decisions, decisions!
Oh so cruel of you to make us choose! I love them both. Each is unique in their own way. The roof looks more like cottage cheese to me... nothing mouldy about it -- at all! Expert layering and tons of detail... as only you know how.

Wow Pia, they both looks gorgeous, beautifully done!
Soon you been hooked for making cards with same stamp to different occasions, lol. My favourite is the first one though.
Happy weekend;-))m
Just one word here Pia - AWESOME!
Fabulous cards. x
LOL...no way does that look like moldy cheese...you're a hoot...it's FANTASTIC. Absolutely love the diversity of this image and how spectacular of you to create two amazing purposes for them. I completely LOVE them both!!!
Lovely cards, scenes are just stunning with the touch of snow, chippies and lace, and just love your chosen colours...have a great weekend.xx

These are both really amazing creations and I love that you've kept the theme the same, but slightly different variations with it. The gold is stunning and I love that added lace to your designs as well!! Have a great weekend! HUGS
Both GOrgeous design Pia...But, both so different..It's an ideal stamp for new home and Christmas How good is that!
Why you could even have a row of them for any occasion! Even a background scene.
I LOve how you've used Kraft paper to stamp and your snow looks Brilliant.
LOve them both.{Especially Christmas lol}

I love these cards! Both! That arc with stars is my FAVE die of yours, and I think you must have so much fun giving each of these homes different treatments! Almost like paper dolls, but paper houses... the possibilities are endless!
TBH I don't think I could choose between them I love them both I love the stamps and roof doesn't look like mouldy cheese to me lol-I really love the star circle die too--thank you for your comments on my blog and the tissue holder-the tissues I had opened at the end too so maybe a good idea to cut half a circle at the end instead of the middle maybe

How beautiful these are, Pia! Amazing how differently they appear with a change of color! Lovely! Hugs, de
Wow - these are simply stunning Pia - love the first and second one! Fantastic die-cuts too. You could do the Christmas one again and then add a sentiment "From Our House to Yours" :) (or not lol) - lovely work as always - Michelle x
Two different cards that are equally beautiful! I do like the set of stamps you used from Paper Wishes - so cute! I love all of the elements of your cards, but think my favorite on both is that star die - that is awesome! Great job, and I enjoyed reading your post :-)
Two really gorgeous creations Pia. You are very talented sweetie.

Two fabulous cards...love your sweet house and that you turned it into both a new home card and a Christmas card, just beautiful.
Adorable card with kraft and white colors, love all the wonderful layers. Thanks for joining us at ATSM.
They are gorgeous, beautifully crafted. Thank you for sharing with us over at A Snowflakes Promise Sue DT
Both card s are beautiful Pia, I love the way the star die encompasses the house as though it's keeping it safe, love both versions but as Christmas cards are my favourite I would pick the Christmas version as my personal choice
These are both stunning. The first one would make a great house warming present in a frame!
These are both fabulous Pia! The first is so lovely in the subtle colours and beautiful textures, the second makes a fabulous Christmas card, just love that circular star die! Xxx
