INK #270 - Beach photo

At Inkspirational we have a photo challenge- it is summery scene, but it also allows different approcahes, with the vehicle on there, colors etc.

I made a beach scene with a inky background using mostly blue and brown inks for the sky, the sand and the sea. The beach huts were cut from a paper from Mintay. The younger lady is from Stamping Bella, the older lady is from Art Impressions.

Please head over to the challenge blog to see the my INK-teamies have made.

INK #269 - Favourite colour in monochrome

At Inkspirational we have the challenge of using your favorite color AND keeping it monochromatic. The theme was chosen by Marlena, and I love it! My favorite color varies with the season and also whether it's for clothing, interior decorating etc. But for the summer months yellow is a color I love for all purposes as it's a sunny, cheerful color.

For the background  I used a mandala clear stamp, heat embosswed with white and inked with yellow on top. The butterfly is a digi, colored with Promarkers.
The sentiment translates: Just for you - because you deserve it. Which is a sentiment I find suiting for seevral occasions, like thanking someone for their kindness.

Anyone can enter and if you'd like to be part of the July chain you can sign up here until til 6th.

This is the card I sent to Jo in the UK. I'ts actually from visits to Jo's blog I found out about this card chain. So I'm happy to finally be able to send her a card. Jo is great at making snarky cards, so I went with humorous option and the colors.

This is the card I received from Helen in Ohio, USA, what a wonderful artsy creation! I love it, Helen!
