This is one of my favorite stamps, a rubber wood mounted one from Penny Black. I stamped with white ink on kraft before I stamped a second time with lavender ink for the flowers and green for the leaves. The vase is stamped on grey paper, fussy cut and mounted on foam. Sentiment is also from Penny Black. For the dry embossed part I wanted to create a table cloth. So I used my sizzix big bird embossing folder and used the bird's chest and stomach region to make the table cloth. To the right of the card you can see the ef used.

Sassy gal
I have made this card for this week's Saturday challenge over at Catch the Bug, it's color inspiration time.

I used the image sassy gal shower and colored her with Promarkers. I used a bathtub stamp from Kanban and paper pieced the towel. The frame is a stamp I received from my blog friend, Monika of Creative with Monika (thanks!). The sentiment is in Norwegian.

Twofer Card Challenge - Card for a woman
Today I have two cards to share, but to make things a little easier I
will make two separate posts, but you can see both cards in the smaller
photo.
The February theme over at Twofer Card Challenge
is hearts. I made one baby card (in the post here) and one for a female that can be used
for Mother's Day or any other occasion. I used
the same Memory Box stitched heart die on both cards.
On the feminine card I used the heart die to cut out a portion of the stamped and stencilled panel and placed it back on foam. Both the image and stencil are Tim Holtz. The sentiment is Penny Black. I was inspired by the colors of this week's Color Throwdown photo.
This card is for Twofer Card Challenge as well as these challenges:
Color Throwdown - #480

Valentine Pup
As some of you might have read already I've donated a few cards for the "Cards for Little Hearts"
drive - you can read more about it here. The drive for heart month is now closed for delivery this year, but there is need of general cards all year round and there is also a drive for winter holiday cards later this year.
This is one of the cards I donated. I used one of Jodie's many adorable dog images available in the Bugaboo shop - this one is part of the Valentine Pup set, along with a stamped envelope and pen from Lawn Fawn.
This card is for:

Die cut rose and musical notes background
I debated with myself for a long time whether I should go for a kraft card base or a white one. I'm still not sure. I might make a similar design with a white base too, that will end m internal discussion.
The muscial noted background is made with a Prima stamp, the sentiment is Penny Black. The rose is made with gold paper and Marianne die. I manually cut the frame or window and made a slightly broader one to get the inner frae of kraft. The panel is mounted on foam.

Color + Love + Feather
I love this dream catcher die and I wanted to use it for a color challenge, a love challenge and a feather theme challenge - they are listed below.
I colored the dream catcher with grey Promarker and added Wisk of Stella for glitter. The feathers are brushed with a pink DI. The sentiment is stamped and I used red for the YOU.
Grey DI used for the stenciled backgrond. A die cut red heart, a left over from a MB hearts border die, was attached with foam.

Sending love Owl
I made a card using stamps from three different stamp sets and brands. I kept to mainly red and grey with a hint of brown and orange to color the owl's beek and the tree branch.
I have used the owl mainly for Christmas cards, but I also think he works for Valentine and cards for special friends.

My first bottle tag
It's my turn to show an "Anything but a card" project over at Catch the Bug.
I've wanted to try and make a bottle tag for a while, and this is my
first attempt of such a project. My starting point and inspiration was
the DP and I chose an image I felt suited the busy pattern. This is a
more fussy and detailed design than most of I've made lately, but I had
lots of fun using left over bits and bobs from my stash, like the bow,
the banner, the little rose and the butterfly.Pile It On - 3D Embellishments

Valentine monsters
I've sent my heart month cards off to Christina Hor for her "Cards for Little Hearts"
drive - you can read more about it here. This card was one of them. I used a Bugaboo image, a Stamploration stencil (a gift from Mimi) with pink DOx ink and sentiment and envelopes stamps from Lawn Fawn. As a contrast to the pink I decided to give the happy monsters blue colors. It was a quick card to make.

A red car for Christmas
Finally. A Christmas card made. I treated myself to the fun car die set from Tim Holtz before Christmas, I made a couple of last minute cards with it, but didn't blog them. This card is fresh out of my craft room.
I made the background with a blue Distress Oxide ink. I used my most used stamp set, and also my favorite one, from Hero Arts, stamping the the snowflakes and the tree line with white ink also from Hero Arts. Then I stamped the trees a second time with green DI. Another favorite used on this card is the dymo sentiment teamed up with a die cut Merry from the die set used. I love all my stitched dies, here I've used a hill one. And I finally got to use one of my much loved, but oh so tricky to use washi tapes.

Enjoy your day and eat a lot of cake
Saturday is here and today I'm going to do exactly what I want to, I have no fixed plans for today, nothing that must be done or fixed. Oh joy! The only thing I have on list it to publish this card for the latest challenge over at Catch the Bug and
this week we have a photo for you. I picked inspiration from the shape of the umbrella and made my own sunray background.

The doggie is colored with Promarkers, I attached it to a strip of vellum with an embossed sentiment saying "Enjoy your day and eat a lot of cake". White string from my stash.

OLC Cute, Colors and Love
I don't usually make (m)any Valentine's or loved themed cards but I' going to make a few this year and send the off to Christina Hor for her "Cards for Little Hearts"
drive - you can read more about it here. I also made this card with 3 challenges in mind the are all mentioned below.
I made a one layer and used a stamp that came free with a magazine a few years ago. It hadn't seen ink yet, but now that I have a stamping platform it's so much easier to use stamps of any quality - I believed I inked this up 5 times.
The sentiment is put together with 3 stamps from different sets.
The colors are subtle also IRL, but even more so in the photo. I sponged and splattered a blue DI and used an orange and grey one and watercolored the image.

Love pup
I don't usually make (m)any Valentine's cards or loved themed cards. But I've got many papers and images for this, so I thoght I'd make a few and send them over to Christina Hor for her "Cards for Little Hearts" drive - you can read more about it here.
The adorable pup is from Bugaboo and I used envelope stamps from my new Lawn Fawn set. The paper I've had for a few years and I'm not exactly sure of the brand.
I was inspired by the sketch over at Sunday Stamps.

Two cards with the same feather stamp
Today I have two cards to share, the reason for this being that they will be entered into the new Twofer Card Challenge,
where you have to use the same product to make cards for two different
occasions. The first challenge is abot feathers. I used an older feather
stap from a Fiskars set.
This card is also for:
Pile It On - #138 Thank You and or/ Shades of Black & White + Optional Pop of color
Daring Cardmakers - Black, White, Pop
Moving along with the Times - #63 CAS
Sparkles Forum Challenges - #100 Thank You
I also went with layers and used a DP, but no colors. The frame is staped and I used a gel pen to add some white detailing.
I don't know if you'll agree, but I feel this card is slightly more on the mascline side and I opted for a vintage look.
This card is also for:
The Male Room - #77- Vintage

Crafty Catz - #400 Anything Goes option/Males Birthday
Card 1 - Thank you
I teamed up the feather with stamps from a, to me, new stamp set from
Lawn Fawn I just couldn't resist. I subtly brushed grey and pink ink to
the ground and added only a tiny bit of color, the red heart on the
envelope and their yellow beeks. I used a black pen to draw the lines to
sort of frame the scene. This card is also for:

Over at Catch the Bug we're having a week long birthday bash - Bugaboo is celebrating its 8th birthday. For day 3 it's about making something for a birthday that isn't a card.

I made a small gift bag onto which I stencilled some numbers, stamped a greeting and a border and added a banner and tiny pearls. The image is colored with Promarkers and there's glitter glue on the cupcake.

I love the colors and patterns of these DPs from a paper pad I received as an advent calender gift. I added the die cut image to a die cut doily and made the sentiment large. In retrospect maybe I should not have added the flower with the leaves, but at the time I felt the card was too top heavy.

Happy New Year! I hope you all are well. This is my first post in 2018 and in a few weeks, I'be been busy enjoying December and Christmas activities.
I've gone clean and simple with a wood mounted stap from Penny Black, being inspired by the sketch over at LIM.
I watercolored the image using DIs and I used a powder brush to add the subtle blue backgrond. The sentiment says "the best mum in the world".

I cropped and printed the image three times to make the photos for my film strip. The red paper has a nice shimmer, so I just added a border of scrap paper and added a silver heart and some greeneries.
This card is also for:
The Merry Christmas Challenge - #46 Anything Christmas
Crafty Gals Corner - #151 Anything Goes
