Feathers and Sequins

There's a new challenge over at  Outlawz Twisted Thursday and the optional twist this week is "Use 3 of something". I used 3 feathers and 3 sequins.
Our sponsor for March is the Outlawz Challenges with this
Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels 7 set as the prize for one lucky winner.

My card is made with some freebie papers and scraps, the only thing I know for sure is that the striped paper is Maja Design. The feathers are cut with a die that came free with a magazine. The sentiment was part of a Whimsystamps digi set. Pearls from my stash.

This card is also for Craft Your Passion - Always Anything Goes.

Love the fresh look of the colours - this has a modern feel which is great for a retirement card - definitely not old-fogeyish!

This looks great! I really like that feather die!

Wow...that is a great prize on offer. I hope to start playing along once I finish the room and the house. Almost done...just that table area, a few hanging shelves to install and hang the pictures...I will be glad to be done. The builder comes Sunday to install the door and the painters arrive on the 23rd. Then it will be a huge push to clean all the dust created and wash everything from top to toe! I think after the painters leave, there will be a lot of moving everything back into place...but...c'est la vie.

April will be my month to have normal routines again! lol

This is so fresh and clean looking plus the colours gel so well together. I was thinking about your comment on my blog about photo challenhes, made me smile how different we are! I love these challenges more than any. I get caught with focusing on something and can't get away from it but often then just leave it and come back to it and look again. Different is good though as I do love to visit your blog and be amazed!
