Party!!!

It's Thursday and time for an OLDIE BUT GOODIE over at Catch the Bug.

I've made a birthday card which I find rather gender neutral - I like having some cards like this in my stash for any last minute needs.

I colored the image using Promarkers and added glossy accent to the balloons and the eyes.

The white paper is embossed with my new embossing folder from Spellbinders. I layeres it onto silver and black panels and machine stitched using really tiny stitches.

I added a birthday greeting made with my Dymp and 3 orange enamel dots from my stash.

This card is also for:
Make My Monday - Party Paraphernalia
Challenge Up Your Life - Critters
Incy Wincy Designs - Clean & Simple
Artistic Inspirations - Anything Goes

Another excellent card to have on hand-- gender-neutral, flat... plus age-neutal! I notice you back a lot of cards with a metallic silver paper. Is there a kind you like? Do you have a stash? It always looks so festive! Also, this particular embossing folder rocks!

Medan du likar å lage kort til bursdagar i siste liten, "likar" eg å lage kort rett før ;)
Litt som den tag 'en eg nett la ut. Skulle vere med på Scrappelyst si utfordring og den gjekk ut klokka 20. Eg publiserte innlegget 19:54
Men det kjennest ikkje sunt ...

Always smile at the goofy perplexed look on this sheep's face when I see this image in use. He looks adorable in the circle with the bright birthday balloons. Bound to make the receipient happy to see this face staring up when the envelope is opened. I like the embossing behind Mr. Sheep and it looks very polished with the stitching and framing. It's always good to have happy cards for either gender! TFS & Happy wkend. Hugs

This is fun and the simplicity of the background give the bright balloons and hat the chance to shine. Thank you for joining us at Make My Monday. Marina DT
