INK #357 - COLD - reminder post

At Inkspirational the challenge theme, chosen by Marlena, is COLD. You have one more week to join the fun.

I made a mini slimline card winter scene, with tree stamps from Tim Holtz and cute mice from Lavinia. I added a moon, splatter for snow and some glitter glue on the lantern and trees for sparkle.

INK #357 - COLD

At Inkspirational the challenge theme, chosen by Marlena, is COLD.

I pulled out my selection of Lavinia stamps and also some trees from Hero Arts and stamped and inked this winter scene. Some splatter for snow and some glitter glue on the lantern and fairy wings and my card was done.

Inkspirational Challenge #334 - COLLABORATION with Color Hues Challenge #103

We have a new challenge over at Inkspirational Challenges. and this time we are collaborating with The Color Hues Challenge. We would like to see you create using RED AND PINK (any neutrals are also welcome).

I find color challenges challenging for myself, but I love seeing inspiration from others. So I kept it nice and uncomplicated, going for a one layer card, using Distress oxides Worn lipstick and Lumberjack plaid for a colored panel. I used a stamp set from Lavinia and I decorated the stamped flowers with pink gems - they are actually nail design gems that I got cheap at a spanish market.

INK #333 Snow

At Inkspirational we have a new challenge and the theme is "SNOW".

For this card I used a sticker stencil from Lavinia to make the stag, a sentiment stamp in Norwegian from hÄnglar & Wings, sticker snowflakes from Little Birdie and frantage for additional snow. The panel was cut with a die from Gummiapan. I used white ink around the edges of the kraft card base.

INK #325 - Headwear

At Inkspirational our new challenge theme is "Headwear".

I made a wreath with stanps from Cardio and Lavinia. I inked with black and added details with silver WOS, a red marker and glossy accent. Inside the wreath I stamped 5 critters and 3 of them are wearing Santa hats. Glitter sparkle was added to the fur on the hats. The back panel and sentiment are made with red mirri card. The card is more sparkly in real life, but I had a hard time capturing it with the camera.

INK #315 - Season - mid challenge inspiration

At Inkspirational our challenge theme is SEASON. I am always in need of a huge pile of Christmas cards, and I am afraid I haven't been very good at making them so far this year, so I better get going.
I made a CAS card using a tree stencil from Lavinia. Inside of the outlined tree I stamped a snowman scene with trees using a much used and loved stamp set from Hero Arts. I love the wintery and frosty feel and have also added some sparkle using Wink of Stella.

TioT - Autumn

Over at Try it on Tuesday our new challenge theme is "Autumn".
This is one of those cards where I did not have a plan before I got started and I started kind of in the opposite order of what I usually do.
I had cut out a wreath of flowers from a Scrapboys paper and I had made a leaf with a stencil from Sweet Poppy and fussy cut it, and I decided to use both. I had some die cut leaves laying on my desk and decided to use them too. I chose a piece of DP I have had for a long time, with leaf pattern on it. Frpm there I had to decide how to decorate the stenciled leaf, and I do love my mushroom stamps from Tim Holtz. But as they were to small to fill up enough of the spaee I masked them off and stamped a tree from Lavinia behind them, along with some falling leaves. I added some bling some Pinkfresh on the leaves, not very visible in the photo, but thry look nice IRL I also used other stamps from the Tim Holtz stamp set, the splatter and scipt, inked in kraft colored ink.
