Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Anything Goes with option: Embossing
At Inkspirational our new challenge theme is Clean&Simple with option of adding animals.
I used an old wood mounted stamp from Penny Black and my new Mondeluz watercolor pencils. I added a few dots og glitter glue and some bling and a sentiment.
At Inkspirational our challenge theme is Clean and Simple, with the optional twist of adding a ballloon.
I used a wooden stamp from Penny Black. I colored with Posca pencils and added glossy accent to the balloon. Kept it clean and simple for a masculine vibe.

At Inkspirational our challenge for the next two weeks is "Paper Piecing.
Persoanlly I think paper piecing is lots of fun, it's a great altnerative to coloring and a super way to use up some scraps.
For me card I chose to go CAS with a Penny Black stamp and DPs in different shades og greys and blues, except for the palm trees whre I used a green leftover piece and green Stickles glue. I left some buildings untouched. All windows were colored with a silver glitter gel pen. One single Pinkfresh gem was added to the star. The card is acutally quite sparkly, but it doesn't show in the picture.

I'm back in blogland after a much needed break and holiday away in the sun. Now I'm back home, to cooler temperatures and grey clouds, which is perfect weather conditions for spending time in the craft room and visiting others blogs!
Over at Try it on Tuesday
our new challenge theme is "Use 3 colors".
I made a one layer sympathy card using the faux embossing technique and the colors kraft, brown and white. The sentiment is heat embossed. The flower stamp is from Penny Black.
Please head over to the challenge blog to see the my TioT teamies have made and to get more inspiration.
Today I'm guest designing over at We Love Stamping.
I've had this Penny Black stamp for quite some time and have used it before, but this was the first time I tried the technique of coloring directly on the stamp. I used aqua markers and it was really easy, and it's the only way I an think of that lets you get the colors in all the right places. I added frosted glitter and frantage, ripped paper at the top and bottom, ribbon and lace and did messy machine stitching.

At Inkspirational we are saddened to have lost our dear teammate, Lindsey, to cancer. I will miss finding inspiration in her cards.
Our challenge this week is One layer stamping. I used a flower stamp from Penny Black, and a sentiment "Just for you, because you deserve it". The flowers were colored with Soft peach and Coral Promarkers.
However, I did also use a Tim Holtz plaid stencil as well, with kraft colored ink.So now I'm not 100% sure my DT card actually qualifies, but let's pretend I
used the very similar plaid stamp I have, same brand, for this card:)
I also made som splatter with champagne colored paint.

For our new challenge at Inkspirational
we have a technique challenge: Watercolour.
I used a Penny Black image and my metallic watercolor paints on a black background and gold embossing, I really like how the colors turned out. Added a bit of splatter too. And after finishing the card I actually realized I had made a one layer card- it's so much easier when it's unintentional, lol.

I’m so happy to be invited as guest designer for Stamping Sensations'
January challenge where the theme is Anything Goes with stamping, with
the option of add a die.
I pulled out my Altenew die to make the frame, it's for a slimline size card, but I cut it to fit my mini slimline design. I heat embossed it with silver EP.
The sentiment was stamped on a torn piece of vellum and the Penny Black flowers on black card stock.
I added some rhinestones into each corner for a bit og shine.
Wishing you all a Happy New Year!
For our challenge at Inkspirational
this fortnight, we have a photo of a chair. You can interpret the
theme however you see fit, I chose a stamp set from Penny Black to make my 3 cards, heat embossing with gold on a dark blue background.
I used mini slimline dies from Pinkfresh Studio. One sentiment was stampoed (same PB set as the images), the other 2 are Tim Holtz stickers. I layered the stamped panels onto gold colored cardstock. One card has a die cut star, another one 3 rhinestones.
I'm sorry about the quality of the photos, some seem very dark, others light and grainy, but after several attempts I had to settle with these. But I quite like how the crads turned out IRL.
For this card I decided to go with a slimline layout to fit my 4 chosen cat images. I used a grey distress ink for coloring. I kept it clean and onlyadded a narrow striped washi tape border for embellishment.
For
the layout of this card my inspiration came from the photo over at Time Out, where the bag has a pattern of heads on circles placed in all different directions. Instead I used one circle and stamped the cats' heds along the edge of that circle. I used the Altenew Mid-Century Frame Die, the die cut was heat embossed in silver. The stencil is also from Altenew, named Deco Wallpaper Stencil. I went with an ombré effect with 3 different distress inks. Finally I heat embossed the sentiment with silver EP.
