Shaker card for baby boy

Today I made a shaker card for a baby.  I's been a while since I last made one, but the die "Midnight cover" from Mama Elephant cuts out a cicrle opening, or frame, and wanted the card to be extra special with golden star shaker elements.

The sentiment is cut out in gold mirri card and says "a beautiful prince". With the giraffe and its balloons, a cut out from Mintay baby boy book, I think this card could work as a new baby card or as a baby's first birthday card.

Shaker card with Birthday cake

I'm participating in an online scrapping event in Norway this weekend, and I just made this card for a shaker design challenge.
The background with stencilled numbers in pink was already made, as was the cake, made with a stamp set from Hero Arts that allows you to build your own cake. Both elements have been ready in my stash for at least 6 months, I've taken them out from time to time to see if inspiration hit me, but that didn't happen until toady.
I die cut 2 ovals and a scalloped frame, added lots of golden stars and a few round sequins.

Baby shaker card with a heart

I've been joining an online scrapping event this weekend, arranged by a Norwegian store, and I made this card for one of their challenges.
I love seeing Valentine's cards, but I don't use any myself (or, maybe I'll make one, that's all I need), nor do any other family member, so decided to go with a baby card instead.

I used a favorite embossing folder, it reminds me of a baby blanket. I cut out a heart window and added sequins, some of which were hearts, as shaker elements.

I used paper from an old paper pad from Pebbles and a die cut word, using an old die from Memory Box.

Ink # 239 - Triangle

For our new challenge at Inkspirational we have a word prompt: TRIANGLE.

I used a brush to add speckled egg DOx to the background, then I used several triangle stamps with both speckled egg and pumice stone DOx. For the edges and confetti I used orange DI.
Then I die cut a cocktailglass (die set from Creative Expressions), the cut part was glued to the background and I raised the panel on foam to make a shaker card. The slices of fruit were part of the same set as the glass. I used a black Posca pen to make the dots around the cut out glass to accentuate it more.

Holiday Chaos day 1 - Reindeer games

Over at Catch the Bug we're in Christmas Chaos mode - we've prepared a week with daily challenges and lots of prizes to be won. The event stays open until January 2, 2021. This is a good opportunity to get those last minute Christmas projects made, or to get a head start on next year's.

For day 1 the theme is "Reindeer Games" and I thought of leaping reindeers. So I fussy cut Snowflake Reindeer Silhouette and made a shaker card with lots of sparkly sequins and die cut a silver mirri frame.

Ink #213 Shake

For our new challenge at Inkspirational we have a word prompt - SHAKE. So to make a shaker card seemed appropriate.

I used an image from Mo's digital pencil, colored with Promarkers, mainly in grey and with little touches of pink and orange. I used an oval die to make the shaker opening and hold and pink sequins of different shapes. A birthday sentiment in Norwegian was stamped onto a piece of white card.

Please head over to the challenge blog to see what my teammates have made.
