Christmas in July - Photo (day 6)

It’s time for my favorite event of the year, Christmas in July over at Catch the Bug, with a week of daily challenges. For day 6 we have a photo challenge with a movie theme.

I was inspired by the trees of the photo and the ladies' outfits in the movie, but also I kept my card mostly white as in White Christmas. I've used a tree landscape die from Amy Design. The panel is cut with a Penny Black one. I heat embossed glitter and frantage for snow. The image is called Sunbonnet Winter and be found here.

This card is also for:

Rudolf Days - July
Sparkles Forum Christmas - #102 Include a Tree

This is so sweet, Pia. The little skater pops off that white themed background scene.

Love the icy look of the frame, you choose the perfect die! The sparkling snow compliments perfectly the skater scene and the bit of blue for the sky make the red pop. Very beautiful!

Adorable, Pia - love your subtle background for your little skater - just the right amount of blue for the sky! Sweet stitching details, too... Thanks so much for playing at Sparkles!

White Christmas and Sound of Music have become traditions at Christmas time for us. And I don't think that the Sound of Music is a Christmas movie, but we still enjoy it :-) Your card is beautiful Love that pop of red colour!
Have a great day. Big hugs,
