Over at Try it on Tuesday we have a new challenge for you - Hello spring!
So spring to me means a lot of different things - seeing the sun again after a long winter, hearing the birds sing, Easter period with its yellow flowers, greeneries of different sorts...
Here I chose to go with sunrays, Easter flowers and a hen and a rooster, colored with Posca pencils.

These hen and rooster are very realistic and love the sun-rays and the touch of flowers, it's a lovely Spring card!
Here we have had sun for all the winter, and no rain except three days... So it seems that this Summer will be very dry and no water...Not good at all.
But for now I enjoy Spring colours, butterflies and blooms everywere!

Your chicken and rooster look very real and with your card you have created a beautiful rural scene. There are many chickens in our neighborhood either. I like it and it doesn't bother me when the rooster crows in the morning.

What a great stencil for the sun rays, Pia! I like the distress feel, and your color choices. Gosh, I imagine your summer temperatures are about the same as our normal winter temperatures here in Florida. I cannot imagine going without sunshine for very long. If I were you, I'd be celebrating the sun, too! Wishing you a Happy Easter!

I agree wholeheartedly Pia, to hear the birds sing and see the sunshine through really is a sign of Spring. Fabulous sunray, puts your amazingly coloured hens in the spotlight. Fabulous creation.
