Football card based on sketch

I made this card based on tke sketch over at The Paper Players. The starting point was my new die from Aall & Create, where I cut off the 4th frame. I used images from Alechemy of Art - Adventure Men. For somedimension I added the film strip to corrugated paper. The football was placed on foam. Background paper from Craft o'Clock.

INK #369 - Visual Prompt: Gnome

At Inkspirational the new challenge is a visual prompt and we want to see you take inspiration from the photo below.

I was inspired by the gnome. My gnome has a honeycomb pattern on his hat and has daisies in his hands. To that's what inspired my colors and choice of embellishments, using dies from Little Birdie and Gummiapan and a sentiment stamp from Aall&Create.

INK #344 - Stencil - Geometric shapes

 

At Inkspirational our new challenge theme is a stencil challenge, with the option of uding geometroc shapes. I used a stencil from Aall & Creeate with different sized squares for the backgound, birthday elements from Craft o'Clock "The November Man" set and bling from Pinkfresh. TH´he greeting is a die cut birthday sentiment.

INK #318 Moodboard - VW Beetle

At Inkspirational our challenge theme for the next two weeks is a mood board. What caught my eye was the photo with the car and the yellow and grey color combination
Out came my stamp from Aall&Create that ressembles a Volkswagen Beetle.My aunt had one of these and it was yellow, so I thought it would be a great choice for her birthday card.
I added a few grey enamel dots.

INK #316 Spotlight technique

At Inkspirationalit was my time to choose the theme and I went with "Spotlight Technique".
I made it super simple - I stamped 3 identical panels with a bee stamp from Aall&Create.
One of the panels was inked up, I cut out a cirle and popped it on one of the panels, then I used the negative to pop on the other. A die cut sentiment and 3 bling on each card and voila - two cards ready in one go.

INK #314 - Mood Board

At Inkspirational our challenge theme for the next two weeks is a colorful mood board. I was inspired by the colors and tried to mimic them in the order of the girl blowing them - and the bling mimics the arranegment of the macarons. 
I used a seahorse stamp from Aall&Crreate, satmped in black ink. I used ditress inks and a text stamp for the background. Sentiment are stickers with birthday greetings in Norwegian.

October Card Chain Challenge Reveal 2023

Here's my card for The Card Chain Challenge October reveal. If you want to join the fun for next month you need to sign up here until the 6th. You don't have to join every month, it's up to you.

This is the card I sent to Carol in the UK. I chose the stamp and papers on purpose as I  have the impression, from seeing Carol's own cards, that she enjoys sunflowers, as weel as Aall&Create stamps.
I followed the sketch, used the Spotlight stamoing technique and the theme of friendship.

In return I received a super sweet and sparkly card from Alice in Finland.

INK #299 - Clean and Simple

At INKspirational our challenge for the next two weeks is CAS - Clean and Simple - with an optional twist of Inspired by a Movie.
I did something unusual for me, I used a colored cardbase, one in a warm light grey color. I think the color matches the greys of the owl. I stamped the Aall&Create image onto the card base and onto a white paper, then I cut out parts of the image and popped it up on foam. The sentment is a sticker and says: another year older...

Maculine card with Pinkfresh glitter drops

I have invested in a few stamp sets from Aall & Create and I do have much fun creating with them, This card started out with an unevenly stamped image on a background,  so I made my card design based on that and  added the popped up circle with an even stamped image to hide the imperfection. I used brown and green inks and a Tim Holtz stencil and I used a text stamp with kraft colored ink on top - it's subtle but you can see it IRL or if you zoom in. A sticker sentiment was added - saying "birthday again?" and 5 Pinkresh ombre glitter drops - my new favorite kind of embellishment at the moment.

INK #298 Moodboard

At Inkspirational we have a moodboard for you to play with and the possibilities are endless. I was inspired by the autumn leaves.
I used a stencil from Sweet Poppy to make the maple leaf outline, fussy cut it, inked with Distress inks and Oxides and used a nature stamp from Nellie Snellen. The background is made with a stencil from Aall & Create.

TioT - Fantasy

 

Over at Try it on Tuesday our new challenge theme is "Fantasy". For this challenge I  didn't go with fairies, unicorns, monsters or troll, but a fantasy world where an octopus is wearing a hat. I think the image is so cool, it's from Aall&Create and it's brand new to me. I think it's perfect for a male recipient.
I used purple, blue and green Distress inks and used a stencil with a baby wipe to lift some of the color off. I also I used a text stamp on parts of the background. The photo doesn't show it well, so I tried to do a close up photo as well. I added one leftover paper strip, some cheese cloth and a few Pinkfresh Studio Ombré Starry Sky bling.
