Rose Watering Can

I have made this card for this week's Saturday challenge over at Catch the Bug, it's a photo inspiration this time.

I used the image Rose Watering Can and teamed it up wit( some favorite DPs, lace, die cut leaves, flowers, pearls and a wooden butterfly button. I left out a sentiment to keep the card more versatile.

This card is also for:

Sketch, scraps tails and birthday

There's a new sketch challenge over at Catch the Bug and this is my inspiration card.

I used the image Kidz boy puppy and colored it with Promarkers.  The DPs were leftover ones. It's been a while since I last machine stitched, so I zigzag'ed with silver thread arond the edges and made a birthday sentiment with my Dymo.

This card is also for:

The Frog Prince

I love green, but I'm no fan of it as a main color on my cards. I always think my green cards look different in photos than in real life. I still chose green as main color to make spring scene for my frog (or is he a prince?) from Bugaboo.
I believe all the papers are freeebie ones. I cut a treeline with a die from Marianne and stitched hills from Poppy. The card case is made with dies from Kort&Godt.
Mr Frog is colored with Promarkers and I used loose gold glitter on his crown.

hero, dress, lady

This card came together quickly as no stamping and coloring were involved and I had already cut out this lady from a sheet with many retro and vintage style ladies.
The sentiment is cut from a DP with different sentiments, but I thought this one has something ‘womanly hero like’ about it and I also thought with today being the International Women’s day it would be suitable for this card.
The lamp post is cut with a Memory Box die and the star stencil is also from them.
Isn’t the lady’s dress amazing? It has a cut that would make me look gigantic, but I so love this feminine style from past times.

This card is for:

Shopping Our Stash - #344 National Dress Day

Birthday pup and spots

For my card I've been inspired by the new sketch over at Catch the Bug. Jodie has many cute dog images in her Bugaboo shop, this one is part of the Birthday Puppies set.

I die cut the image to a circle shape. The spotted paper is a kind of olive green color, it ma look a bit brownish or kraft like in the photo. I stamped a birthday greeting in Norwegian and added a few sequins.

This card is also for:

Pride and Prejudice Peacock

Marina has started a challenge blog where the challenge theme will be related to a book - for her first challenge it is "Pride &Prejdice" and I'm inspired by the book cover.
Image result for pride and prejudice cover
I used what is probably my oldest - or one of the oldest - stamp sets from Panduro. I made a cicrle mask and stamped peacock, then the flowers and leaves. I colored the images with Promarkers and used blue DI in the circle. The green feathers of the peacock has WoS for sparkle.
The sentiment was part of a freebie set. I also added some beige liquid pearls.
