At Inkspirational
we have a new challenge and it's a moodboard with lots of options. I chose to go with the gingerbread and polka dot sweets. My starting point was a paper from ScrapBoys, I cut out the centre of the frame and added my topper behind it. I decorated with flowers from Little birdie and Pinkfresh Sparkle & Shine ombré glitter drops. I die cut the sentiment from gold glitter paper.

our new challenge theme is "Sparkle all the way".
I love glitter of any color and form- glitter paper and loose glitter or embossing powder - and I've used both on my card. It may be hard to judge from the photo but Santa's belt, the snowflake swirl and the inner edges of the frame are glittered up.

At Inkspirational
we have a new challenge and the theme is COLD. For me the choice was to go with snow and the color blue.
I used a DP with snow and a door from a Mintay Christmas paper pad. The door was cut out with an oval die and I used a larger die for the mirri card used as a panel. The snowflake swirl was covered with glitter and glitter drops from Pinkfresh. The sentiment is a Tim Holtz sticker. A quick and easy card to make.

our new challenge theme is "Halloween". I don't celebrate Halloween and I don't uasually send out any cards. However, I have started enjoying making cards for Halloween, because I love the colors and there are so many fun papers, stamps and dies for this occasion. For this card I used a purple gingham paper and a cobweb die cut. The skull is from Tom Holtz, the sunglasses as well, I put glossy accent on them and popped them up on foam, The necklace is colored in purple, green and orange and I added glitter glue on as well - it makes the pearls look like candy, yum. I used sentiments from three different stamp sets.

At INKspirational our challenge for the next two weeks is to make a card with a matching envelope.
I used several stamps from the Tim Holtz Tiny toadstools set and colored with my Posca pensils. I placed die cut circles onto a textured paper background and added Pinkfresh bling and a sticker sentiment.

I made 2 cards using the same image from Tim Holtz' Wicked hipsters stamp set, one card I made for any occasion and the other for Halloween.
1) ANY OCCASION in pink monochrome
The text translates "you are wonderfully nice and beautiful" and I like it because I think it fits for a just because kind of card, but even a birthday one for that matter. I stamped the sentiment inside a solid and outline circle stamp from Tim Holtz.
I stamped the image onto the background and masked it before stenciling behind it. I also used some text stamps from Aall & Create for some extra detail. The hair scarf and the pearl necklace are stamped onto a patterned paper and cut out.
2) HALLOWEEN in orange and black
For this card I used distress inks, Mica stain and a stencil to make he background. I cut out a panel from a Halloween DP, used sentiments from different stamp sets and added some die cut sweets.
I don't really use Halloween cards, but they're so fun to make. If you happen to know someone or some place who could put them to use, like a charity or oganization or collector, then please share...

Addicted to Stamps and More - #454 Any Occasion
I have invested in a few stamp sets from Aall & Create and I do have much fun creating with them, This card started out with an unevenly stamped image on a background, so I made my card design based on that and added the popped up circle with an even stamped image to hide the imperfection. I used brown and green inks and a Tim Holtz stencil and I used a text stamp with kraft colored ink on top - it's subtle but you can see it IRL or if you zoom in. A sticker sentiment was added - saying "birthday again?" and 5 Pinkresh ombre glitter drops - my new favorite kind of embellishment at the moment.

Over at Try it on Tuesday our new challenge theme is "Let's go outside". For this challenge I went with a one layer square card design, using a stencil from Sweet Poppy to make the maple leaf outline with Speckled egg Distress Oxide.
Inside the leaf I used a Holly Hobby stamp, it is part of a set that came free with a magazine ages ago and it had yet to see ink.I colored with my Inktense pencils and stamped a birthday greeting.

The black outline die cuts very embossed with clear holographic embossing powder for extra sparkle and color, and the sequins are clear ones shifting colors as you turn them in the light.

I don't know about you, but just be looking at the sentiment "You are my sunshine" a melody immediately starts playing in my head. And of course my card had to include a large sun, it's die cut and inked with yellow, and a blue DP was put behind to mimic the sky. A few die cut flowers were added.

At Inkspirational we went live with a new challenge for you on Saturday, but I haven't been able to blog it before now. The challenge theme is to use stencils, with the optional twist of Use Layering Stencils.
I used a plaid stencil from Pinfresh Studio which consists of 2 stencils to make the background pattern. I used an Altenew stamp for the pine branches around the edges and to get some snow I heat embossed with frantage.
The angel image I have received from Nonni - I so love this stamp, so if someone has it and feel they don't need it anymore, please let me know as I'd like to buy one:) I colored with Promarkers, added glitter Stickles to their wings and fussy cut it. The Christmas sentiment is die cut with gold glitter card.

our new challenge theme is "Pretty Papers". I have so many pretty papers I can choose from as it seems I've been hoarding them over the years, but Maja Design has always been one of my favorites so I chose papers from there.
I don't have a big supply of butterfly items, but I won these dies earlier this year and I think they are so pretty. I die cut some borders, stamped a sentiment and added some bling and my card was done,

This might look like a tag, but it's a tag shaped card with a top fold.
I used a cute bunny and plane image from a set from My Favorite Things and made a stencilled cloudy sky as background for the first tag layer. I also added some stamped fussy cut clouds.
For the second layer I used a stamp with a repeat pattern of "gratulerer", which is what we use to say congratulations or happy birthday in Norwegian.
From my stash I took yellow ribbon, white string and a plane metal charm.
My youngest nephew is turning 8 later this week and I think this is the card I will be giving him.
