Two puppies and sketch

There’s a new sketch challenge over at Catch the Bug and this is my take on it.

The images are from Birthday puppies set, colored with Promarkers, and the DP is Lawn Fawn.  I also used a die and my Dymo to make the birthday sentiment in Norwegian.

Stella witch

Tuesday is "New release day" over at Catch the Bug, and this is my DT card.

I usally don't ake (m)any Halloween card, but witch Stella could be used for other themes as well. But this time I chose to go with Halloween colors with papers from Lawn Fawn and a sentiment from MHKDesign.
I thoght the cheese cloth could sort of serve as cobweb.

One Layer Card with Flowers

Today I've got a floral one layer design to share. I've been away for a good week, I usually have trouble finding mojo after a break, but I was inspired by the layout, colors and bold title on the book cover at the Library Challenge, so I got to work and had fun.
Amazon.com: Oscar (Biblioasis International Translation Series) (9781771962254): Mauricio Segura, Donald Winkler: Books
I used rose stamps from a Dina Wakley set. To add color I sponged with yellow, pink and green DI. I also added some blue arond the image to accentuate it. As a final touch I used a small script stamp and coordinated the colors with those of the flowers.

Sheep and balloons

I have made this card for this week's challenge over at Catch the Bug - it's photo week - I was inspired by the colors.

I used a Bobblehead sheep (not yet in store) and balloons, colored with Promarkers. I've used stitched dies from three different sets, for the background, the frame and the tag. Kraft paper, a strip of Tim Holtz DP and white twine.
My sister has three young boys so she seems to be in constant need of birthday cards for young ones and I think this one could work for either a boy or a girl.

Fox and sketch

There’s a new sketch challenge over at Catch the Bug and this is my take on it.

I used a paper printed on both sides with fall colors and a leftover piece of orange paper with spots. The image is colored with Promarkers and sky is stenciled with blue DI. I used several stitched dies from MFT and MB, as well as a scalloped one from Spellbinders I think. I stamped athinking of you sentiment.

Bingo time

I have made this card for this week's challenge over at Catch the Bug - it's bingo week - my choice was the bottom row: sentiment + sparkle + Bugaboo image

I used Winter Birds - Skate, colored mainly with blue and grey Promarkers as I wanted it to match this beautiful DP from a Kaiserkraft paperpad. I cut the middle with a MFT stitched die and placed the cut back in. Gold mirri paper used for the panels, there's glitter and I even remembered to add some ribbon before it was too late. My sentiment is a combo of Dymo + a Tim Holtz die.

Autumn and bear

OK, so the weather changes from cold to hot on the same day, my nose is running, I'm sneeezing, it's raining outside - fall is on its way. So my card today is inspired by that 'in between' period and the theme of bear.Book - Winnie-the-Pooh by A. A. Milne
The image was a freebie one, a few years ago, colored with Promarkers. There's lots of texture with hessian paper, corrugated paper and string. I added a few flowers and glitter enamel dots.
I also want to say congrats to Mervi, she's celebrating her 10th blogaversary - well done!

This card is for:

Bird

I've made another Christmas card, this time using no stamps.
The bird image is cut out from a DP and I placed it in top of a leftover piece from a Tim Holtz DP.
I like using kraft paper and for the background I gave it a whitewash with gesso and I used a striped embossing folder.
Die cut greeneries, string and a fabric sentiment sticthed in place.

Wildlife

Wednesday is "Humour me" day over at Catch the Bug, and this is my DT card for "National Wildlife Day".

I did something I usually don't do - I made something different than an A2 size card. This is a stepper card and it was easy to make as I have a die for this.
I had fun using different dies to make the scene and I chose a patterned bluish paper for the sky.  The sentiment is a birthday greeting in Norwegian.

Stella Says Sketch #614 - Christmas reindeer

There’s a new sketch challenge over at Catch the Bug and this is my take on it.

The image Reindeer Christmas Goodies is so detailed so I figured it would work fine with a simple sketch like this. The image is colored with Promarkers.
I added three paper strips leftovers from Tim Holtz papers and three die cut snowflakes.
I also used two of my favorite stitched dies from MFT.

This card is also for:
