Inkspirational #179 - Sweet things

Time for a new challenge at Inkspirational and this time we want you to take inspiration from the photo. I was inspired by the hearts and the word love.

For my card I used a stamp set from MFT and colored with Promarkers. The background was made using a stencil from Stamplorations and I traced with a glittery silver gel pen around the hearts to add a bit of sparkle. I also used a die cut frame and a silve panel.

First holiday card of 2019

Here's my card featuring this week's Freebie Friday image-  you can pick it up at no cost in the Bugaboo store.

I colored the image using Distress Inks and Promarkers, added glitter glue and fussy cut it before adhering it to my background.

The backgrond consists of a Kaiserkraft DP, die cut hills, trees and birds, and a sign stamped with a holiday greeting, so I consider this my first holiday card of 2019.

To make the shaped card base I used dies from Go Kreate.

Hippos and Cupcakes

Today I have a birthday card to share.

I’ve used a stamp set from MFT for the colored images as well as for the background. Coloring with Promarkers, also added some glitter glue for the frosting on the cupcakes.
The birthday greeting in Norwegian is heat embossed with silver EP.

Teddies and hearts

There’s a new sketch challenge over at Catch the Bug and I made a card using the image Teddy bear topper, colored with Promarkers.

I used pieced and sticthed dies to cut out a frame of kraft. One part of the frame was stenciled and then put in place with foam tape. I added a few die cut hearts, lace from my stash and a sentiment.

Bugaboo Birthday Bash Day 5 - Make us laugh

Over at Catch the Bug we're having a week long birthday bash - Bugaboo is celebrating its 9th birthday.  You can see a list of all the challenges for this event here.

For day 5 we have the theme of 'Make s laugh'.

I made my card using a stepper card die and  a white paper with striped texture. A colored image, 3 sequins and a die cut banner with a sentiment from Poppy.

Bugaboo Birthday Bash Day 4 - BINGO (and a new release)

Over at Catch the Bug we're having a week long birthday bash - Bugaboo is celebrating its 9th birthday.

For day 4 we have a BINGO board.  I chose the bottom row of ribbon+tag+stripes.

I made my card using the new release image, which will be part of the winner's set.
I used Promarkers and a white gel pen for coloring. I masked the image and used a stencil and brushed on the ink to make the background.
The DP with stripes was a leftover piece, the tag is stamped and I used seambinding ribbon and enamel dots from my stash.

Bugaboo Birthday Bash Day 2 - Sketch

Over at Catch the Bug we're having a week long birthday bash - Bugaboo is celebrating its 9th birthday. For day 2 we have a sketch. 

I made my card using the image Rose Monster. I colored the image with Promarkers. The DPs are from Kaiserkraft one has a lovely velvety texture. I distressed the edges with brown ink.

Bugaboo Birthday Bash Day 1 - Monster Party

Over at Catch the Bug we're having a week long birthday bash - Bugaboo is celebrating its 9th birthday.
For day 1 the theme is "Monster Party".

I made my card using the image  Birthday Monster Balloon. I colored the image with Promarkers to match the colors of the DP from Kaiserkraft. I heat embossed the sentiment with silver embossing powder on vellum and added a few enamel dots.

 For my card I used a new to me flower stamp set from Altenew. It was gifted to me just before Christmas. I heat embossed with white on kraft and fussy cut. For the tag with the sentient I used stamps from Avery Elle. I also used an embossing folder, a circle die, leaf dies and pearls. To make the shaped card base I used dies from Go Kreate.

Stripes and Hearts

There’s a new sketch challenge over at Catch the Bug and I made a card using the image Pup hearts 01, colored with Promarkers.

Having a sketch to work with this card came together really quickly. I used both sides of one sheet of DP and just added a die cut border and frame as well as a sentiment, it was staped with a Penny Black stamp.

First 2019 Catch the Bug challenge - Anything goes

There’s a new challenge over at Catch the Bug and it's Anything goes. I made a card with the image Kidz Jack Birthday Balloons.

I colored the image with Promarkers to match the colors of the DP from Kaiserkraft.
I used a MFT stitched die, added a stamped tag (Avery Elle) with a birthday greeting and three enamel dots from my stash.
