Stencil used as stamp

Over at Happy Little Stampers the CAS challenge of the month is to use a stencil as a stamp. I loved the sound of the concept and got to work, using my Memory Box star stencil as stamp, blue DI and water. I didn't acheive a perfect result, but kind of loved how unperfect it looked, so went ahead.

I added a fussy cut ADFD image, colored with Promarkers and decorated with red glitter. Then I stamped and heat embossed a birthday sentiment from Whimsy Stamps, mounted it all onto a dark blue panel and card base and that was it.

I didn't add any embellies and it's a non fussy card, but I'm worried  it's not CAS enough, but I'll enter it as a CAS card into these challenges and we'll see:
Happy Little Stampers - April CAS: Stencil monoprint
Less Is More - White space but not white
A Day for Daisies - #144 Add Glitter (added glitter to the flowers)
C.R.A.F.T. - #357 Create Your Own Background Paper

Love really very much this scene and how as you have created it!! This sky is just a delight, you have made a fabulous work with your stencil! And the little thinking girl is so sweet!! The touch of glitter on the flowers is a pretty detail. Love your work, and I think is a CAS :)

I think your background sky is just perfect, and the stenciling worked great for this look too. It looks quite CAS to me, and I like the image of the little girl enjoying that stormy evening sky. You did beautifully in this effort, and I wish I could have turned out my stenciling so pretty!! TFS & Have a great week. Hugs

So cute and pretty Pia. Sorry I will be probably missing on and off as I have had the very devastating news about my husband. They will be sending him home from hospital in the next couple of days with not much hope. I can't have emails sent to me as they go to both computers and I am having a terrible trouble deleting them from his all the time the ones I do not want him to see.

Hi, Pia! Your starry night background reminds me of childhood days, and our gorgeous evenings here. The mottled coloring is just like a magical night sky! Did you use a resist on your stars to keep them so white? Beautiful card! Very wistful and magical! xo

I know what you mean about "is it CAS enough". After all these years, CAS remains mystery. That aside, this is a stunning card. It tells a story and leaving me wanting to know more about the little girl. This card is a HUGE success for me... and I'm sure HLS would agree. Well done, Pia!
