For the first time at Inkspirational we have a technique challenge fortnight, and first up is the challenge of SHAPED CARDS.
I pulled out my new Tonic Studios dies to make my shaped card. I made the layers with a starry DP, gold glitter paper and white cardstock. I used a freebie cloud embossing folder, gold paint for the star splatter and a Stamping Bella stamp. Coloring with metallic watercolor paints. The sentiment is for welcoming newborn.

A great diecut card shape in wonderful papers,the image is adorable and appears to be setting off on an adventure,a really special new baby card.

I have this set too, bought for albums, but I have never thought to use it for cards. Lovely palette with brown and gold and the choice of the starry DP is so pretty! Love the cutie on the cloud too!

Using a die is great for making shaped cards and I love this one, Pia! (Without a die, they elude my crafty abilities!) That little sweetie sitting on her star could not be more adorable and perfect for a new baby card! Fun that it is shiny, too, with the metallic gold. Hugs, Darnell
