Gift Bag with a Reindeer

Monday means a new week with new possibilities!! Today I want to share a little gift bag I made for Catch the Bug's "Anything but a a Card Monday" post. You can find this cute "Plush Reindeer" here in the Bugaboo store.

The bag is made with white paper and a die from Lawn Fawn. I chose a spotted DP to decorate the front as I wanted to create a snowy scene. I used Walnut DI on the edges.
I cut out a circle, added acetate and placed the cut out circle behind it so I could add a tree scene and glitter snow for a shaker effect.
The trees are made using a die from Marianne. For the snowflakes I used a punch, and each snowflake was decorated with a pearl.
The reindeer i colored with my Promarkers and a white gel pen.

This gift bag is also for these challenges:
1) I love Promarkers - #244 Cute Christmas
2) A Crafty Mess - #1 Anything Goes
3) Completely Christmas - #37 Anything Goes with a Twist Let's see some Blue
4) QKR Stampede – #113 Let's Talk Christmas

Another great project, Pia. Gift bags always come in handy during the year...but especially at Christmas!

Had a wee giggle about telling your husband about my stash. Seriously, I have to squish a 12 x 15 foot room plus a huge closet under the stairs into a 10 x12 room plus closet...Uggggh.

I packed another 5 huge boxes today and still have not packed all my 12x12 [paper. Problem is, that paper is heavy so i try to get 2 large cropper hoppers full of paper on the bottom of the box and one more sort of standing up one side. Then I fill in the rest with bins and baskets of lighter stuff.
I love my woven baskets and drawers, but man do they take up a lot of room in boxes!
My husband is guessing 75 or more boxes for my craft room...some of those will be shrink wrapped stacking 13 inch wooden cubes full of embellishments...but the shrink wrap will hold the drawers from sliding open and yet still allow the crates to stack.
I need to keep the huge boxes to no more than 40 pounds and have suceeded so far! Yay!

That snow looks real. I do love how you combine cute images with beautiful scenes. You wouldn't need to put a gift in this bag - the bag is the gift!
