Card Pouch

It's Monday and over at Catch the Bug that means we've got some "Anything but a card" inspiration for you. I used a sweet bee, colored with Promarkers,  you can find it in the Bugaboo store here.

I made a card pouch using a tutorial I found here. I kept to orange, black and white for this card. The embossed background is made using a Darice EF. The panel with the sentiment is made with a Spellbinders die and the sentiment is heat embossed with white EP. The bees are made with a die from Memory Box. Boy, it was fiddly putting them together, such tiny little pieces. I've had them for more than a year but it's the first time I've used it. Now that I know how it works I'm sure going to use them more. Flowers, skelton leaf ,bling and paper ribbon from my stash.

This card is also for these challenges:
1) Allsorts - Creature
2) Cut it Up - #67 Spring - Anything But a Card
3) Darnell's 4th NBUS Challenge - NBUS Memory Box bee dies
4) Simply Create Too - #82 Anything Goes

Simply darling little bee. Yes, the MB bee die is a bit fiddly. I've used mine once! Am loving that bold honeycomb background with the chalkboard die shape over it. Really pretty embellies too. (will try to find a link for a realistic cardinal, and post so you can see what one really looks like. Mine were colored fast, with no effort to do any realistic shading. Just wanted them to be bright & fun. They truly are a beautiful bird). TFS & Hugs
