Autumn and winter trees

Here are my two cards for the Twofer Card Challenge #31, where the theme is TREES.
For both cards I used a tree stamp which is part of a Hero Arts set.
I made a "thinking of you" card and a Christmas card.

Card #1:
For this card I used a freebie sentiment, all other stamps belong to the same Hero Arts set.
I used brown, orange, green and gold inks to create an autumnal scene. I used the gold ink with water to make splatter.

This card is also for:
Moving along with the Times - #122 Create A Scene
Crafty Gals Corner - #211 Fall colors

Card #2:
The layout is inspired by the sketch below.
Allsorts celebrate their birthday and would like to see us use things we love - I've used frantage and my preferred sentiment combination, using my Dymo and a die.
The background is made with a stamp from Concord&9th' Seasonal borders stamp set along with purple inks from Altenew - the "Enchanted Garden" kit. All other stamps are from Hero Arts, as is the die cut "Christmas".

This card is also for:
CAS(E) This Sketch! - #389 Sketch
Allsorts - #589 Incorporate things you love

That's a beautiful stamp with the trees and stag and I love how you used it in both your designs, Pia! The thinking of your card is gorgeous in fall colors and I love the background text and how you framed it! This pretty card would work for either gender. And your Christmas card in cool blues and purples is sensational! It's a winning take on the sketch if you ask me. Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #31! Keep well! Hugs, Darnell

Your twofer cards are fabulous, so different and both so exquisite! I can not pick a favorite, I like all the shades of purple (of course) yet the other is so striking with the way you framed it!

A lovely fall and winter combination, Pia! I love the orange frame that brings everything together on your Thinking of You card! The hues of purple and blue are beautiful and the Frantage looks so frosty! Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!

What a stately image, Pia ... used wonderfully for both cards! The collage-y autumn scene is so warm and atmospheric ... the framing really draws the eye! The rich purples on your Christmas card are fabulous with the bright white frantage 'snow' ... it's frosty and magical! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Anita :)
