These are my two cards for the Twofer Card Challenge #37, for both cards I used a leaf stamp from Concord & 9th, I made a with sympathy card and a card that can be used for any occasion where you'd like to wish someone a lovely day, like for a birthday.
1) WITH SYMPATHY CARD
I stamped the leaves black and heat set with clear embossing powder before masking off a strip at the top and bottom. I used a brush with blue DI and gold ink to make the background. I used a die from Concord & 9th die cut parts of the leaves for a dimensional effect, but I didn't capture that so well in the photo. 2) BIRTHDAY/WISHING YOU A LOVELY DAY CARD
While I chose a diagonal layout for the sympathy card, here I went vertical. I stamped with green ink, masked, brushed on Speckled egg Distress Oxide and added Perfect Pearls on top. I think it has the same effct as vellum. The butterflies however were embossed on vellum, fussy cut and glued to the card base. The sentiment is versatile - wishing you a lovely day

Your swoop of leaves on the sympathy card is lovely and I love the blue inking in the background! The vertical design is very different and I love the butterflies! Thank you Pia for sharing these with us at The Twofer Challenge!

Wow Pia you two CAS cards are just amazing! Such great designs! Love so much the green and gold one!
I love these colours but particularly the black on the blue. The leaves look as though they are blowing off in the breeze. I did think that was vellum, very pretty. Alison Twofer GD
Your sympathy card is lovely, Pia ... the drift of leaves against the soft background is wonderfully serene and tranquil! How dreamy is your second card ... the delicate butterflies are perfect against the leafy panel! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Anita :)
Both beautiful cards and love the different effects with the leaves
