Thursday means a new challenge over at the Outlawz Twisted Thursday and this week's optional twist is "add a Ladybug". I used an image from Oak Pond Creations, our sponsor in September. I colored it with my Promarkers and added yellow enamel dots the flowers' centers.
My ladybug element is a brad from Totally Gorjuss which I mounted onto a crocheted flower. Papers are from Doodlebug Design. I stitched with golden thread around the edges and added a die cut sentiment, made with a die from Dienamics. I also used lace from my stash.

I love this, Pia! That lace and crocheted flower, along with the ladybug button makes this look Victorian to me! I love the soft colors you used to color it!

That is a beautiful card. I LOVE the Hello sentiment and that ladybug brad is the nicest i have ever seen . I keep my eye open for ladybug card things as my friend loves them. It is fun to make her a card or give her a treat with her fave item on it.
Setting the brad on that pretty crochet flower was a great idea!
Really busy here getting my house prettied up so we can list it for sale. That actually means clean the scrapbook room lol.
After 5 years of looking, we finally found a house within walking distance to my married daughter. We knew exactly the 2 floor plans we liked but houses rarely come on the market in her neighbourhood.
They are over the moon as we can walk down and watch the kiddies any evening so they can have a date night!
We get up at 5 :15 2 days a week to make them breakfast and walk them to
school. Now I can walk over in 3 minutes! (Good thing we are all good friends as well as family)...teehee
Oh this is gorgeous Pia… what fab sunflowers… I love the enamel dots for centre… the lace and crochet flower are very pretty! the card has has a lovely vintage feel to it!

Oh my goodness Pia - how awesome is this?? I love EVERYTHING about this fabulous card. The scrolly hello is so perfect - love the dots in the middle of the flowers - the lady bug on the tiny crocheted flower and that yummy lace! Terrific!!
