our new challenge theme is "Birds and/or Feathers".
Several years ago I boughT an embossing folder with a corresponding die from Sizzix, this is the first time I'm using them. I teamed up the bird with a die cut Christmas sentiment and leaf and I decorated using some white pearls, courtesy of Gundi/Papierelle and a challenge win. The kraft background is stamped with a white ink and an old Tim Holtz script stamp.

This is an amazing card, Pia. You can never get started too early making Christmas cards. That is a charming die and I love that texture, too. Even the little pearls are perfect. This is a real beauty indeed.

What a stunning dove, Pia - love the crisp white against the kraft card!! Perfect with that scripty sentiment!!
This embossed big bird looks just fabulous and love the kraft border around it. The pearls add a festive feel and the light script breaks the monotony of the background without distract from the bird. Well done!
