I’ve been looking for cacti stamps, have found none, so I was delighted when I came across this cacti die set from Marianne. I cut the parts and used my promarkers to color all the bits and pieces.
I used a MFT stitched frame die and kept the cut in the die while adding green DOx.
Then I used my script stamp and randomly added grey ink. A bit of splatter, 2 stamps used to make the birthday sentiment and my card was ready.

I used the image Winter Bird 2, colored it with Promarkers and cut it with an MFT die. The die cut frame is also MFT and the Santa with sleigh is from Marianne. The red/kraft colored papers are Tim Holtz ones, the musical notes strip was a leftover from my stash. I used my Dymo to make the Christmas sentiment.

Christmas in July - Baby it's cold outside...
It’s time for my favorite event of the year, Christmas in July over at Catch the Bug. A week of daily challenges, and day 1 is a really easy one, Baby it’s cold outside.

I used a snowman for my card. I sponged blue DI on the background, added drops of water for snow effect and also white frantage. I cut the panel with a MFT stitched frame die.
A subtle detail, which is almost invisible in the photo, is that I masked off the snowman and stamped a few trees with white ink and heat embossed with frosted embossing powder. Quite nice in real life.
The sentiment is a combo of dymo and a Tim Holtz die cut.
This card is also for:

Beverage
Today I have two cards to share for the Twofer Card challenge where the theme is beverage. For both cards I used the champagne bottle and glass stamp that was part of freebie set with a magazine recently. I also used a sweet mouse from Penny Black. The frame dies are from MFT, I used the two largest ones.
Card 1) Happy New Year 2019
This is the first card I made. I stuck a freebie paper onto the card base and added sticker numbers. I stamped the mouse and masked him before I used champagne bottle and glass stamp. The bubbles came with the same freebie set. I stamped and cut out one extra glass. I covered the glasses with glossy accent.

Card 2) It's your day (birthday card)

Yellow flowers
For this card I’ve used a Penny Black flower stamp together with grey ink.
I colored the image using both yellow DI and Promarkers. I added blue DI with a brush to get a light color on the background, then I added a bit of splatter.
After adding the sentiment I felt the card felt a bit empty so I used a script stamp and grey ink.

The flamingo was a gift from my sister, I colored with my Promarkers and added a little WoS on the wings.
The sentiment and lace frame are MFT dies, the sand banks are made with dies from Poppy and the tall flowers I've used for grass and straws are from Tim Holtz.
I colored with blue DIs to make the sea.

Trees and snowman with stocking
I have made this card for this week's challenge over at Catch the Bug - it's Anthing Goes week.
I've been digging through my stash of ready made items, which were intended for but not used on previous cards. There I found the snowman from Bugaboo as well as the squirrel (Lawn Fawn) and the stamped trees and stocking (Panduro). I just cut the panels and the banner (dies fro MFT), embossed the smaller panel and used a tree stencil (Tim Holtz) on the larger one. The sentiment came free with a magazine.

Red roses
It's been almost a month since my last post. But after a change of internet solution (which wasn't the smoothest), a holiday and a funeral (my Father in law) everyting is getting back to normal. A part from the weather, 30 degrees celsius isn't exactly normal, but I'm not complaining.
I treated myself to this stamp set of roses earlier this week and thought they would be suitable for the sketch over at Sunday Stamps.
I stamped the roses with red and black ink, a grey one for the script background and I also used a new set of dies to make the frame.

This card is for:

Floral corner stamp
Tuesday is new release day in the Bugaboo shop and this is one of of the images you will find in the store today.
I printed it twice and cut out the large pink flower, the red rose and butterfly and mounted them on foam for extra dimension. I also used some of my clear stamps to add some extra print. There's WoS and glitter glue detailing as well as some sequins.
I used blue DI to color arond the flowers and grey DI to distress the edges.
I haven't been able to spend much time in blogland lately due to very poor internet connection. They are changing internet solution in my building and it's apparently taking some time to get it all good and fixed. So several evenings with no internet at all, plugged in or wireless, and some periods where loading of a website takes what feels like forever. Waiting for better days ahead:)

I used a sweet bee image - you can find it here - and colored it with Promarkers. A strip of leftover DP and a piece of washi tape were added.
We're having +30 degrees Celsius here in Oslo and the weather has been fantastic for a long time now. But with no air condition I'm looking forward to the coming week with temperatures of 20 something...

Bride and groom
I was inspired by the bookcover over at Marina's challenge and made this wedding card.

My inspiration was the bride, the car, the colors and my DP had a banner printed on it - quite fitting. I used sand ink and a freebie stamp and held my breath while stamping as it was the last thing I added to my card. The image is from Stamping Bella, colored with Promarkers and lots of WoS on her dress.Several dies used and a paper from Maja.

Card made with a kit from a magazine
I made this card with a Hunkydory topper and paper from a set called `Love Christmas`, which came free with a magazine a while back, I'm not sure which.
I cut the paper into sections to mimic the sketch over at 52CCT, then attached the reindeer topprt onto a die cut star shape made with dies I received from Mervi (thanks!).
I stitched around the edges and added frantage, a die cut + Dymo sentiment and I stapled on a few sequins.

Flowers for mum
I have made this card for this week's challenge over at Catch the Bug where the theme is 'Anything Goes'.
I've been using more DPs again lately. I have a huge amount of papers and I love them. Spots have alwas been a favorite of mine and I think the color of the paper matched well with the image colored with Promarkers. I also used a scrap for the panel and the border is made with a die that came free with a magazine.
