This Venetian stamp is from Penny Black - I think it makes a great holiday image- I love to travel to cities for short holiday breaks. I've never been to Venice, but I've been in Rome and Milan.
The sentiment is a sticker and the post card stamp came free with a magazine. I've used Spellbinders dies to make the kraft card base. I sprayed with some peach glimmer mist for a bit of sparkle.

WOW, that looks awesome. At first I thought it was a frame because the detail from that embossing folder is amazing. I love to see other cardmakers using stickers for their sentiments. I just stocked up on a bunch this week to make cards for this stamp company. Anyway, I saw your card on MIM and thought I's stop by and tell you how awesome it is but then I starting babbling:)

Wow sweetie this is gorgeous. You set yourself a hard task, I find colouring on kraft hard and you added a task by colouring with distress inks for the first time. Your creation is awesome, give yourself a big pat on the back.

And....WOW!! I'm too nervous to try coloring with Distress inks, but on the other hand, so excited to try too. I am definitely MORE swayed after seeing this. Your card is sensational Pia. Love that image you chose. Very classy appeal to it.

This is very elegant and lovely. Gorgeous shape and frame.
Now you have painted with your inks, you'll be hooked! I adore painting with my distress inks. You can get such gorgeous shading with them. Try them on some water colour card/paper as the texture gives it a real water colour look.

Pia, Sorry I have not been around, been so busy. You have to tell me what the name of the spellbinder die is, I just love it. That is a totally awesome vintage stamp. You did fantastic job using the distress ink. You should stop at Nicecrane designs and see all the vintage art he has. He has some awesome vintage ladies.
