This color scheme was really challenging. The background is made of two shades of gelatos to ressemble the saffron and orange, but I also added 3 orange enamel dots.I tried to replicate the rose red and rich razzleberry on the flowers and the stenciled stripes, but I might be a bit off. My purple flower looks more blue in the photo, but IRL it's defintely purple. I used a gelato and brusho, but while watercoloring the edges get lighter.
I stitched a border with white thread and heat embossed the sentiment in white as well.

Your try with a new colour scheme has been excellent, Pia! I think that you have really made "goal"!! :D Wonderful design and this background coloured with Gelatos looks so soft and feminine!! Adorable flowers that match very well with the stripes of the dp and LOVE the stitched detail! This card could be a scarf to accompany that dress.... :D I would wear with your fab card! LOL

hI Pia, in reference to digital crafting, it is different but you use tutorials and filters and plug ins, it's not your usual PC stuff, you need a programme like Paint Shop and so forth. It can take me up to 3 + hours to do a project.. it is very good for the brain cells, gets you thinking.x{aNNie}

AMAZING job on a trickier challenge... for some reason, purple always throws me! I guess I get confused-- I need to just categorize the purple as more warm or cool as you have done... This is such a nice layout, too, and you have executed a well-balanced design.
