Using stickers

LIM has the challenge of using stickers or something of the sorts this week. I've got loads of stickers. I know my card perhaps isn't perceived as totally CAS, it's definetely borderline, but this is the quickest card I've ever made. So it's quick and simple, without a doubt.
I rummaged through my stash of  stickers, saw this armchair one and just knew I had to use it and how. I've had it for a while, I have just been waiting for the right moment and idea I guess.
The armchair sticker is quite large, it's dimensional and it's really nice to the touch.
I used a Tim Holtz stamp to make the maculine wallpaper, took a piece of burlap paper and an oval die to make the carpet, added as newspaper and glasses sticker from the same set. And the sentiment - Best Wishes - is also a sticker. I think that's one that will work for many occasions.
The card is perfect for a man who's not necessarily one of those avid golfers, or one who loves to go fishing or one who's interested in cars.

This card is for:
Darnell's NBUS Challenge - #7(2nd entry)
Less Is More - #291 Use Sticker, Sticky Label or Peel-Off

the brown background is a stamp? but it's so evenly inked and stamped!

Love that armchair sticker too! Love all the different textures on the card.

Wow, if it isn't a CAS, surely is really minimalist!! Fab scene with a few things and so impressive! I have never seen an armchair sticker before now. Brilliant stamped background and diecut carpet! This is a perfect male card for everyone!

This is brilliant, Pia! What an awesome sticker! I've never seen a sticker so large! It is such a wonderful focal point for a masculine card and it says to me, relax and get comfortable, enjoy your day! A very nice message to convey!

I have never seen an armchair sticker before Pia - it's fabulous and the layout of your card is wonderful. Really good job for a card you put together quickly! Thank you so much for the offer of papers etc. to replace the ones that were destroyed in moving house. That was so kind. I am OK at the moment as I have just had a delivery of new papers which made me really happy lol - thanks again Pia :) Michelle x

Yes-- that armchair "speaks to me"! It just look exactly like a mini-armchair-- not cartoony or anything... and I love how you arranged the scene and made the wallpaper! So clever. Thanks for visiting me... I've barely been able to hop around, but I think of you often!

Oh this is a fab CAS card Pia… I really love the textures… I would definitely be stroking this card.. the armchair looks awesome!! Lol… it's such a genius design with the newspaper and glasses! The more CAS that I do, the more I think that the key is in the ideas and planning beforehand. You've really nailed it here.
Hope you are well
Love and hugs, Sue B xx

No doubt - this card is utterly totally masculine. That armchair sticker is quite a find and you could not have used it in a better way. It definitely steals the show for me supported by the burlap rug, the wallpaper, glasses and newspapers... reminds me of my dad!
