Rainy bear

Hello! I'm here to show you my DT card with an "Oldie but Goodie" image from the Bugaboo store.
I saw this sketch and thought it suited my new goal of using more scraps before I will let myself cut into any new, untouched DPs. I had already colored up my image and started my hunt in one of three large boxes of scraps. Cough, hm yes, I'm embarrased to say I have that much scraps available, but I'm quite the DP addict, even though I've enjoyed making my own backgrounds lately... So I went on a hunt for something yellow, blue and red and had no trouble finding these colored papers in my stash.
I tied my string a bit differently than in the sketch because I didn't want to cover up the image. And I chose a red button to balance with the red Dymo made sentiment.
The weather in Oslo feels like something in between summer and autumn, which I think my card does too.

This card is also for:
Retro Sketches - #228 Sketch
Crafts Galore Encore - Use a Stamp or Digi
Sparkles Forum Challenges - #83 Lots of Layers

He is so cute. Such a sweet image. We are in the middle of a heatwave in the UK. Temperatures of 30+ deg. I am sure we will have rain soon, storm clouds are gathering!

He is adorable your colouring and his patchy umbrella and a super design...yes, I'm guilty of having far too many scrap boxes too..I tell myself to use them up but it only lasts for one or two projects and back to my DP's..

Cute image Pia and beautifully coloured. Well done on your goal of using up the DPs, I have stacks but rarely ever use papers - really need to make an effort!
Sorry for the lack of comments, but real life just took over!

Awww, excellent coloring of this little guy! No rain in California for a while, but fall is in the air. Great job using the sketch... RetroSketches have been too detailed for my attention span and time constraints lately :(
