Joy Fold Card with Angels

This week's challenge over at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday is to make any kind of folded card. We've got TWO great sponsors for the month of October - Anne's Digital Art AND 2 Cute Ink

Returning from holiday I took Monday off work and since then it seems like I've been one day behind ... So thinking it was Tuesday I got slightly panicked when I realized it was Wednesday and my card for Twisted Thursday was due!
I knew I wanted to make a Joy Fold card, but with lack of time I had to go with a more clean design than I had planned for. I chose a vintage image, decorated it with golden die cut pine branches and added a few red gems. The white papers have been embossed with Sizzix embossing foldes, with spots and snowflakes. I added a red panel for a bit of color and stamped a Christmas greeting. My card was ready within 40 minutes - that might be one of the quickest cards I've ever made. Clean or more embellished, I'm usually a very slow card maker!

This card is also for these challenges:
1) Ooh La La Creations - Things with Wings
2) Make it Monday - Anything Goes

That's an awful feeling when you realise you are a day behind with a deadline looming. The card is lovely and certainly doesn't look rushed. Love your use of different embossing folders and the pretty vintage image.

Another fabulous idea Pia. I may be scraplifting this one sooner rather than later! You always do such a wonderful job with vintage images. 40 min.? It still would have taken me at an absolute minimum of 2 hours to create this! Well done.

Hugs,
Lisa
